Joseph Mawle was born on March 21, 1974 in Oxford, England. He is an actor, known for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012), The Awakening (2011) and The Cold Light of Day (2012).
He is partially deaf, having suffered hearing loss, due to a virus, at the age of 16. At this time his parents split up and he lived alone in a caravan.
Graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2002.
Appeared in two projects involving Merlin: the miniseries Merlin (1998) and the BBC series Merlin (2008).
